How can you make the world's best-selling printer even better?* The new VersaCAMM VS-i is the answer! We have kept everything that users love about the VersaCAMM: quality eco-solvent ink, integrated cutting function, user-friendliness, versatility and reliability. We have added what you still want: the latest print head technology, faster drying, new ECO-SOL MAX ink CMYKLcLm, white, metallic and light black, easy replacement of ink cartridges, among other things. This printer will therefore undoubtedly be your new favourite.

Three models

The VS-640i can load material with a width up to 163 cm. The VS-540i has a width of up to 137 cm, and with a width of 76 cm, the VS-i 300i is the smallest of the series. Select the model that best suits your needs and wishes. The VS-640i and 540i are the ideal devices to create signs, banners, car stickers/wraps and window decoration. The VS-300i is an excellent production tool for stickers, labels and heat transfers for apparel.

Wide choice of colours

The VS-i devices can be used with eight, seven or four colours. White and metallic give your customers added value, while light black creates the most beautiful black/white prints and stable skin tones. You can choose from the following configurations with and without these special colours: CMYK, light cyan, light magenta, light black and white/CMYK, light cyan, light magenta, light black and metallic/CMYK, light cyan, light magenta, white and metallic/CMYK, light cyan, light magenta, and light black/two times CMYK.

Latest ink

ECO-SOL MAX 3 is the new generation of Roland DG's award-winning eco-solvent ink. The ink offers an overall better performance, with even faster drying times, bigger cartridges and a lower price per cc of ink. Of course, it also delivers the reliability, quality, consistency and durability that Roland ECO-SOL MAX is renowned for.

The latest print heads

The VS-i is equipped with the latest print head technology. This ensures impeccable print quality. The print heads deliver drops in seven different sizes, and so optimise the image quality for your selected material and resolution. Combined with the new ink, the print heads ensure that even the smallest details are accurately printed.

Faster white and metallic prints

The VS-i prints white and metallic faster. For white, the VS-i prints about 1.5 times faster than its predecessor, and about twice for metallic. The devices also have an automatic ink circulation system for white and metallic ink. This system prevents the pigment particles from settling in the ink.

High user-friendliness

VersaCAMM devices are known for their high ease of use. Convenient improvements however ensure that the operation of the VS-i is even easier. For example, the ink cartridges are located in the front of the machine, so that they can be replaced easily. You can also slightly adjust the blade position during cutting. You can therefore immediately intervene and thus avoid additional costs.

Supplied with VersaWorks

All Roland printers are supplied with VersaWorks. This software can print metallic patterns very easily. Simply select one of the 25 available patterns and the software does the rest. Thus creating special effects is a piece of cake! VersaWorks also has a library with 512 metallic colours. Just select a colour and you will see great results rolling off the printer within a few minutes.

Convenient options

The VS-i has a built-in heating system. However, you can install an additional dryer to accelerate the drying process. Roland DG recommends such Online Dryer when you use white or metallic ink. All VS-i devices can also be fitted with an advanced take-up system with which you can finish large print jobs without any problems.
