Creative power

The SOLJET PRO4 XR-640 is the fastest printer/cutter ever made by Roland DG. You can rely on its exceptional print quality, versatility and efficiency, while your competitors look on in amazement.

Printing and Cutting in one

The XR-640 is 162.5cm wide and combines two functionalities. The device prints the jobs and automatically cuts them. This allows you to quickly and efficiently create all kinds of stickers, labels, heat transfers for apparel, etc. Furthermore, you only require one machine, which saves you space, energy and money.

Excellent quality

The XR-640 is equipped with two serially connected print heads. The mirror arrangement of the colours ensures consistent quality in bi-directional printing. The Roland Intelligent Pass Control technology improves quality even further by accurately controlling the placement, the quantity, and the density of the ink droplets.

High print speed

In the "high speed" mode, for example, the printer can, achieve speeds of up to 21.6m²/hr, for vinyl as well as for banners. Despite these higher speeds, the print quality is superb.

Latest ink

ECO-SOL MAX 3 is the new generation of Roland DG's award-winning eco-solvent ink. The ink offers an overall better performance, with even faster drying times, bigger cartridges and a lower price per cc of ink. Of course, it also delivers the reliability, quality, consistency and durability that Roland ECO-SOL MAX is renowned for.

Seven and eight-color configurations

ECO-SOL MAX ink is available in nine colours: cyan, magenta, yellow and black (CMYK), plus light cyan (Lc), light magenta (Lm), white (Wh), metallic silver (Mt) and the new colour light black (Lk). Four configurations are available:

- CMYKLcLmWhMt
- CMYKLcLmLkWh
- CMYKLcLmLkMt
- CMYKLcLmLk

This expanded palette opens up profitable new applications and markets.

The latest print heads

The XR-640 is equipped with the latest print head technology. This ensures impeccable print quality. The print heads deliver drops in seven different sizes, and optimises the image quality for the material and resolution you selected. Combined with the new ink, the print heads ensure that even the smallest details are accurately printed.

Roland VersaWorks

This device is supplied with VersaWorks, which is powerful and user-friendly RIP software specially designed for Roland inkjet technology. The software allows you to use your device optimally. VersaWorks updates can also be downloaded free of cost.

Optional drying

The XR-640 has a built-in three-fold heating system. However, you can install an additional drying to accelerate drying. Roland DG recommends the DU-640 if you wish to use the take-up system at high production speeds, or if you use white or metallic ink.
